Internet Slang.

So, this is going to be short. Its been a busy couple of days for me.
However, something that pissed me off, just had to be vented. What is it with people using internet slang? I can almost understand and come to grips with "LOL". Still a horrific abuse of language, but I can look past it in most cases. Then you have the people who use letters for words. R and U are letters people, not words. Much less, why feel the need to abbreviate a three letter word? ITS THREE LETTERS FOR CHRISTS SAKE. Does it take that much time out of your day, to type out 'are' ? I'm not saying that people on the net should be a literary master. I'm just saying at least try and type out what you are trying to say. Typing out "plz" instead of "please" just makes you look like someone who was dropped on their head as a child while eating lead based paint chips.

I guess what I'm trying to say is. If its not worth typing out correctly, is it worth typing out at all? Just something to think about.
