Black Friday

I never cease to be amazed at the lengths people will go to, in order to save money.
Just like with the xbox 360 release, on my way to work I drive by some retailers. I'll be damned if there wasn't a HUGE, and I do mean HUGE crowd of people waiting to get in some of these places. I checked some of the sales papers, there isn't anything worth getting THAT worked up over. Most of the items in the ads, are either no name product or so low end, its hardly worth the discount. I could see if it was for food for starving people, or supplies for the needy or something, but damn.
Sometimes I think to myself, its no wonder other countries laugh at us.

Xbox360 Launch

Its unbelievable the lengths that people go to, in order to purchase one of these things.

I'm no where near what one would call an avid gamer. Sure I like playing a video game from time to time. I can't imagine what drives people do go nuts with the Xbox360 like they have. I've heard reports of people lining up at stores YESTERDAY afternoon. Driving to work this morning, I saw people outside certain retailers in tents, and sleeping bags, folding chairs etc.

Some people are there because they need the satisfaction of being the first to own the latest and greatest technology. Then you have your game freaks that are in line to get their latest fix like a drug addict. Then we have the people that are the problems with this world. They buy it to resell it on eBay or various other places. These vultures make me sick. Those are the "anything to make a quick buck" people that make me sick.

Now again, I'm not against these people because I simply didn't get an Xbox. I have no plans on buying that for a while. Least not till the price drops when all the hype dies down. There are people out there that would like to own it. However these scum of the earth buy it for the cause of reselling it. They prey on people's needs. Granted no one needs an xbox, but its the principal. I sincerely hope that Santa takes a dump in their chimney this year. Problem is, there's always someone stupid enough to pay them for what they want. No matter the price. Unfortunately, its what keeps these bottom feeding dregs of society around.

What can I say, I'm a "people person". Can you tell?

Mom gets 30 years for sex parties with minor boys

A woman who authorities said had sex with high school boys during alcohol- and drug-fueled parties has been sentenced to 30 years in prison, officials said.

Note:

While I agree that this woman deserves some jail time. I do not agree with the amount that she gets. I've seen some people sent to jail for MURDER charged with less.
