Honda Rolls Out Worlds First Motorcycle Airbag

Along with deadly features like satellite navigation, 80-watt per channel premium audio with six-element speaker system, a cold-weather comfort package the new Honda Gold Wing comes with first protection airbag system.

:Note:

If you read the article, there is a picture. I'm sure if the author is pro or against the idea of an air bag on a motorcycle. However, looking at the pic, I can see the safty nazi's are at it again. Of course you need protection from yourself right?
Better yet, let me pose this question. For anyone reading this that has seen or heard about a motorcycle accident. How many times during an accident does the rider STAY ON THE MOTORCYCLE? Having had a motorcycle accident myself, I can honestly tell you that the likely-hood of that happening is slim to none. I can see this airbag doing more to injure a person than helping them. Imagine if you will, you're cruising along, and you hit a car. You hit the car head on. Of course you're going to go flying over the handle bars. Now, as you start to fly forward coming up off the seat, this air bag deploy's. What I can see happening is the rider kind of skimming off the top of the air bag and being thrust further into the air, than he previously was. So not only is this rider going to be flying forwards, but now due to the air bag more upwards too.
Just doesn't make much sense to me.

Here we go again

I've read various reports on the net about stores getting another shipment of the xbox360's.
I really didn't pay them much mind, until I went to do some Christmas shopping. One store I went into had a tent and folding chair set up by the front door. As I walked in, curiosity got the better of me. So, I asked one of the people that work there about the tent and chair (at this point, not even remembering about the article I had read about the xbox) . As it turns out, this store had more to sell, and were going to sell them starting tomorrow morning. (well this morning, as its currently 1am, but you get the point) I inquired as to how long that first person had been there, to which the reply I got was. "I have no idea, I got here at 8am, and they were already here."

So, this person will camp out for 24 hours to buy an xbox. Am I the only person who sees something wrong with this? I'm not going to get all activist or anything, because that's not who I am. However, these people have nothing better to do than camp outside of a store for a day to buy a GAME SYSTEM?! Stuff like that is what's wrong with the people in the world today.

I really hope none of these people have, or ever plan on having children.

Power outlets do a 360

It seem that at the end of every electrical cord, theres an intimidating looking, odd shaped block that inevitibly covers up the second plug in your wall outlets. 360 Electrical has solved the problem with their super cool 360° rotating outlets.

Note:

You'd think someone would have come up with this already.

Holidays

When did we become so politically correct as a country that we have to result to "holiday parties" and saying happy holidays to people because saying "Merry Christmas" might offend someone?

Isn't the basis of all these different holidays basically the same? I mean when you really get down to brass tacks are they really all that different? Do they not evoke the same emotions towards their fellow man?

If I say Merry Christmas to someone of the Jewish faith (had I not known they were Jewish), wouldn't they get that I was saying it in the spirit of the season? Or do you think they will really get offended.

When did we all become so politically correct? We're so pathetic when it comes to sparing other people's feelings that its become sad. If someone of a different faith were to come up to me and wish me a happy Hanukkah, or Merry Kwanza I'd be fine with it. People need to relax, and take a breather.

I've lost all semblance of where I was exactly going with this. So I'm just going to end it here. All I'm saying is, relax people. Holidays are holidays, if someone wishes you a merry this, or a happy that, just keep in mind they are just wishing you well. Don't be a jerk.
