Canadian rednecks chase BMW

Funniest thing I've seen in a while.
Now as much as people love to say something about violent gun-toting Americans, lets see how the Canadians handle this.

Now here we have violent road raging Canadian rednecks, and the gun-toting Canadian BMW driver. Seems issues like these aren't just an American problem after all.

Gravity Wave

This is a time lapse of a natural phenomena called a gravity wave.
I had nothing better to post today, thought this was pretty neat.

Common Sense.

This was sent to me, I've seen it on the web before. So, I take no credit for it at all. However, I do believe now more than ever, this rings true.

My parents told me about Mr. Common Sense early in my
life and told me I would do well to call on him when
making decisions. It seems he was always around in my
early years but less and less as time passed by. Today
I read his obituary. Please join me in a moment of
silence in remembrance, for Common Sense had served us
all so well for so many generations.

Obituary
Common Sense

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend,
Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No
one knows for sure how old he was since his birth
records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
He will be remembered as having cultivated such
valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the
rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't
always fair, and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies
(don't spend more than you earn) and reliable
parenting strategies (adults, not children are in
charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well
intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in
place. Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with
sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens
suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch;
and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly
student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked
teachers for doing the job they themselves failed to
do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined
even further when schools were required to get
parental consent to administer Aspirin, sun lotion or
a Bandaid to a student, but could not inform the
parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to
have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten
Commandments became contraband; churches became
businesses; and criminals received better treatment
than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when
you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your
own home and the burglar can sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a
woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee
was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was
promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents,
Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter,
Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by
three stepbrothers; I Know my Rights, Someone Else is
to Blame, and I'm a Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized
he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on.
If not, join the majority and do nothing.

Youtube down?!

Occasionally I check out digg.com. If you've never heard of it, its whats called a social news site. Its all user submitted stories. If that tells you nothing read the about page.
So, all the stories/articles on digg are submitted by your average person. Right now, youtube.com is down. Could be down for maintenance, whatever. Either way people have submitted the story that youtube is down at least 4 times in the past 3 hours. My question is, how bored are people that they feel the need to submit a story on the site being down. I mean come on people, do something else with your life. Lord knows there are thousands of other sites on the net. Or god forbid, you do something else with your time like go outside. Or spend time with your family.

Its that time again

I seem to post as regularly as a leap year...
So, I been busy working on my bike. I'm telling you there is nothing like going for a ride to clear out the cobwebs from your head and make you forget about life for a while. I highly recommend it for those that have the means. I'm sure we all have enough things that happen in our daily lives that we all need to unwind from.

Of course since this is my little slice of the net, I'm going to rant for a brief second about someone I work with. Yes for lack of a better term, she completely defines the word bitch.
My apologies your majesty
She's one of those people of whom the world owes everything to. At least that's how she sees it. There are certain tasks that she will refuse to do, (minds out of the gutter, I'm referring to reasonable requests in the work place) because and I quote "I've paid my dues". Without going into too much detail, they're tasks that no one likes doing, but everyone has to do them. I will say this, this person is in no position of authority over anyone to make any such claim.
So to you, oh queen bitch, fuck you.

Now for some light reading, we all knew that soda isn't good for you, but damn.
(granted from the look of the website, it may just be blown out of proportion, propaganda type crap)

Now go do something worthwhile.
